MARY WINNERS, BSBA, MSG, CPG
Certified Gerontologist

Mary has over a decade of experience in the business development aspect of healthcare. While physicians and nurses provide medical recommendations, Mary understands the other side of health care-the confusing maze of health care options and unknowns. She has extensive knowledge in acute care hospitalization, Gero-psychiatric issues, Alzheimer’s and dementia care, hospice, assisted living and other senior care options. A noted speaker and adviser, Mary has provided expert services to a wide variety of seniors in every economic category. Her ability to accurately pinpoint and guide families as they deal with emotional life changing events gives Mary unparalleled insights.

Marty has over 30 years of experience working with humanitarian and religious non-profits. After retiring in 2007, she took on the role of CFO for a roofing/construction company and then joined About Senior Solutions as Office Manager in August 2013. Her many years with non-profits have created a perfect blend of administrative talents and a desire to serve the senior community. Her business management experience supports the enhancement of client well-being and company goals. Marty looks forward to taking your call and will serve your needs quickly and efficiently.

Ginny Delgatto has 29 years of experience working in the senior care industry. Her work experience includes the roles of a Certified Medical Assistant, then to home care as a private caregiver, Client Care Coordinator, and Sales Representative. Her passion for working in this industry comes from her love for providing support for families. Ginny grew up in Arcadia, moved to Monrovia in 1986 and married for 32 years. On her free time, she loves being with her family, going to the beach, movies, and traveling.

WHO PERFORMS THE EVALUATIONS: OUR CLINICIANS

One of our licensed clinicians, experienced in geriatric psycho-social issues will perform the evaluation in the home setting of the senior. Once we understand the direction needed for care, you may work with one or more of About Senior Solutions team members.

CATHY HUO
Welcome to our new Life Enrichment Specialist, Cathy Huo. She has a Bachelor in Gerontology with a minor in Psychology from Mount Saint Mary’s University. She is a recent graduate and new team member at About Senior Solutions. She has worked with a range of non-profit organizations in the Los Angeles area, from the Venice Family Clinic to LA Kitchen. As an intern she has participated as an advocate for raising awareness about senior poverty in the Los Angeles area. Cathy has also assisted with multiple fundraiser events to provide additional support in healthcare for low-income communities. As a California native she greatly considers the beauty and diversity of Los Angeles to bring forth growth for the next generation of baby boomers. Most recently, she has dedicated her time to working with children at a preschool, where she enjoys engaging in an intergenerational program. She hopes to give back to the community by contributing to a supportive and thriving environment for those in need of help. At About Senior Solutions, she strives to foster a positive contribution to clients.

MARI TIRADO
Mari has a BA in Psychology from Ohio University and an MA in Social Work and Gerontology from Cal State Los Angeles. She is bilingual in Spanish and English and is currently pursuing a PhD at USC for Social Work. Her experience in social services has expanded her role as a licensed social worker to the Director of Palliative Care and various social services programs. As an advocate for her clients she is dedicated to encouraging the best practices and procedures to improve their well-being. She has also performed the duties of lead social worker/ case manager for a Medical Management Group, an ACO/Medicare program, and programs for people with disabilities. She has experience as a Hospice/Home Health social worker, and has training in Crisis Intervention and Trauma-Focused CBT. Mari has also been a Family Therapist and a manager for a hospice agency in Glendora.

JENNY L.  JOLLY, MSG

Jenn L. Jolly has been working with disabled and older adults for over eight years, working as a self-employed professional care manager. She applies knowledge as a gerontologist to ensure optimum health outcomes, while making efficient use of social resources and health care on behalf of vulnerable individuals and families. She joined About Senior Solutions in 2013.

ANN HODGDON

Ann has a Masters of Social Work Degree from California State University, Long Beach with a focus on adults and gerontology. She also holds a Masters of Social Work Degree from California State University, Long Beach with a focus on adults and gerontology. Her primary background is in the field of mental health.
